刘俊明,男,博士,华南师范大学兼职教授,兼职博士和硕士研究生导师。1980-1984年在华中工学院机械系学习,获工科学士学位;1984-1987年在华中理工大学机械系学习,获工学硕士学位;1987-1989年在西北工业大学材料系学习,获得材料加工博士学位。1997年获国家杰出青年基金,2004年获聘教育部长江特聘教授。中科院国际材料物理中心副主任,《物理学进展》副主编。科学业余博客者。
主要从事关联电子物理、多铁性与铁电物理、统计物理与蒙特卡罗模拟、自旋电子物理方面的实验与理论研究。在Science、Advances in Physics、PRL、Advanced Materials、JACS、PRB和APL上发表论文110余篇。研究工作被他引超过5000次,H-指数36,单篇他引最高1000次,他引超过100次的论文9篇。主持和承担国家自然科学基金面上、重点、重大、杰青、创新群体项目共18项,主持和承担国家973项目课题、国家重大研究计划项目课题共5项。
